Timeline:
This week we created a detailed ‘Google Excel’ chart called ‘Harry Brorby Project Interview Chart’ to insert contact information of all who have been or may be contacted for interviews. The Excel chart is large and in progress, and will continue to be indefinitely. We included people who knew Harry but are now passed on, in order to avoid redundant detective work. It is our hope this chart is useful for the next group of researchers to avoid redundancy and gain a sense of who has been involved in Harry’s life, as far as we are aware by the listed dates on the Excel chart.
Provenance:
We continued to enter data as before. Also, we started to organize the information into more uniform components to be transferred to next years group.
Digitization:
We transfered digital material--this includes photos, manuscripts, artwork, etc.-- on to an external hard drive. In addition, the continuation of scanning photos and other primary sources has taken place.
Organization:
Most of us have been turning our focus to individual projects. Much of the documents we are sifting through now are tax forms and medical forms and the such, making it pretty boring.
